Eagle Owls and their incredible writing
Nathan’s proud- are you?
Shout out to the Eagles – incredible homework alert!
WOW! I certainly set high expectations in my class and boy, oh boy, are my children rising to the challenge! They had 88 (sorry!!!!) questions in maths this week and many children completed it, with lots having a really good go. Can I just thank parents for their amazing support? I promise it won’t be like that every week but I really do appreciate everything you do!
Big Up Sandhill !
So I’m sat on my sofa, organising all of the paper I’ve not been very good at organising over the last 2 weeks 3 days (but who’s counting?) and I just feel so grateful to be teaching such a wonderful class. They’ve approached every challenge with resilience and are already making fantastic progress. I feel very, very lucky to be doing the job I’m doing and I wanted to let you all know that The Eagle Owls, together with all of the other children and staff at Sandhill, make my ‘job’ (it’s so much more than that) a very happy and fulfilled one. Love PD 💛
Dedicate yourself and you will find yourself standing 4th in the Spellodrome Hall of Fame!
Follow the Eagle Owls’ motto
What an incredible maths lesson today- the Eagles used their previous knowledge and strategies learnt from yesterday to enable them to solve a complex place value problem.
Parents- try this:
What is the smallest and largest 7 digit number you can create where the digit sum is 6 and the tens of thousands digit is 2?
